What Is Edible Packaging?

Edible Packaging is a consumable and biodegradable film or paper. Edible Packaging might be made of seaweed glycerin or even rice paper. Made of completely natural ingredients it can be created to your needs. Edible Packaging takes the flavour of what it is wrapping and transfers it slightly to your tongue. Saving the environment and lives along the way!

Scientist David Edwards invented edible food packaging. The packaging he invented consisted of charged particles bound by electrostatic forces, which then surrounded the food itself. The food is then finally wrapped in a biodegradable hard shell (Taken from Delish.com). The reason David Edwards invented edible food packaging is because plastic waste became a massive problem for our world because we produce 141 million tons of plastic packaging a year.
