The Process

Ingredients and equipment you need to make Edible Packaging are:

  • 2.5g of glycerin
  • 10g of gelatine
  • 400ml of cold water
  • Glass bowl
  • Whisk
  • Nonstick frying pan or surface
  • Glad wrap
  • Pot
  • 2-3 days of your time

Edible Pouch

Method

  • Pour the glycerin and gelatine into the glass bowl
  • Now pour in the cold water
  • Whisk it around gently
  • Pour the glass bowl liquid into the pot
  • Simmer atop the stove
  • Whisk until it has boiled (1 minute)
  • Pour the mixture into your nonstick frying pan or surface and have it very thin
  • Once it has rested a while cover which glad wrap to prevent dust
  • Then leave it for 2-3 days
  • Finally peal of the glad wrap and cut
